Where you been Evan? Stoned out of your gourd, probably, in Australia. But, thank god, you’re back! The Lemonheads have a new album coming out in September, and here’s a link to the MP3 "No Backbone" It’s great, a song that could have been on "Its a Shame…". And, they found out which 7-11 J. Mascis of Dinasour Jr. has been working at, talked him into coming into the studio, and got him to do the guitar. He shreds it, as usual. And, to make it even more promising, it’s produced by Bill Stephenson, you did the Descendents, ALL and a couple other great bands. So, it’s sure to blend good guitars, pop/punk, and some good lyrics. I’ll add this one to my list to buy.
I found out about this on My Old Kentucky Home, a great music-focused blog run out of Indianapolis by Dodge. Here’s his write up on the Lemonheads. Christ, he’s good. And, a never ending flow of good music. I’m going to buy the Kamikaze Hearts, too. Another thing I found on the site.
