Bad interview (but better than nothing) with the Shins at Pitchfork. BTW, I’m one of the “middle aged guys” that go to shows like this. I’m not that weird. I just haven’t grown out of my rock and roll fix. So, relax James Mercer.

Tweedy Enters Rehab (Surprise!)
This really shouldn’t come as a surprise, but Jeff Tweedy has entered rehab for an addiction to painkillers. Anyone who has seen Wilco or Tweedy live could have seen the signs in the performance. Evidently he has problems with migraines. Hmm. I just hope he gets some help, if for no other reason than the fact that he’s got a couple kids. In the meantime, you can listen to Wilco’s new album live on the net and remind yourself why, in 25 years, Tweedy will be remembered as one of the best of his generation (or any, for that matter).
